What changed: I rewrote how long I keep what you send me. Your contact record now stays until you ask me to remove you, unsubscribing only stops my emails, and I say exactly what stays after a removal. I also named every analytics tool that runs here.
Short version: this site collects only what you type into the contact form, uses it only to respond to you, and never sells it. It does run analytics and ad measurement, every tool is named below, and you can switch them off in one click.
What I Collect
If you submit the contact form, I collect the details you provide: name, email, phone, zip, and your website address if you give it. I also log which page you submitted from, your browser's user-agent, and your country, used to filter spam; the user-agent is also kept with the record of what you agreed to, and removed after 24 months. If you use the growth-plan tool, I also store the answers you give it, your goals, industry, reach, website situation, and timeline, so I can build your recommendation. I use your IP address momentarily to rate-limit submissions, then discard it. Browsing the site does set cookies and does send data to a few analytics companies. Every one of them is named under “Analytics and advertising measurement” below, along with what it collects and how to turn it off. None of it tells anyone your name unless you type it into the form yourself. Using the chat assistant is different, see the next section.
My CRM sorts new inquiries by how complete they are and how long they've waited, so I answer in order. It never decides anything about you.
Analytics and Advertising Measurement
I run ads and I write a lot of pages. To know which ones are worth your time and mine, I measure. Here is every tool that runs on this site, what it collects, and how to switch it off. Nothing here is hidden behind a vendor list on some other page.
What I Measure Myself
My own counter. Your browser stores a random number for me. Not your name, not your email, not your IP address. My server adds one to a tally next to the pages you open and the buttons you click. It is never attached to your name or to anything you submit through the form. It sits in local storage rather than a cookie, so no other site can read it. Switch Site measurement off under Privacy choices and this counter stops with it.
What Third-Party Tools Run Here
Google Tag Manager. The loader that runs the Google and Microsoft tools below. It loads only after the consent check, never before. If you have said no, or your browser says no for you, it never loads at all.
Google Analytics 4. Counts pages, clicks, and form submissions, and tells me roughly where visitors came from. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_… on this domain. Three settings on it do more than counting, and each one deserves its own sentence rather than a summary.
Signed-In Google Accounts
I have Google signals switched on. If you are signed in to Google and have left ads personalization on in your own Google settings, Google ties your visit here to that account and may hand me your age range, gender and interest categories, drawn from your activity across Google and the sites that partner with it. Google never tells me who you are, and what I see is grouped, never one person on their own. You can see and delete what Google holds at My Activity, and switch the association off in your Google ad settings.
Your Email and Phone, Scrambled
I have Google's user-provided data collection switched on, including its automatic mode. When you submit the form, Google's own tag reads the email and phone you typed, turns each into a one-way hash before it leaves your browser, and sends that hash to Google so it can tell whether you are the same person who saw one of my ads. Google gets the scrambled version and cannot turn it back into your address. I want to be exact about who does what here: my own measurement never sends anything you type, and there is a check in my build that fails if it ever tries. This one is Google's tag, switched on at my end, and it is the reason the rest of this page no longer says I send Google nothing about you.
Where You Are
Google collects a more precise location than my own records keep, usually down to the city rather than the country.
All three stop the moment you switch analytics off below, because none of it loads until you have said yes. Google explains its side here: How Google uses information from sites that use our services.
Microsoft Clarity. This one deserves a straight sentence, not a euphemism. Clarity records your session: where your mouse went, what you clicked, how far you scrolled, and a replay of the page as it drew on your screen. I watch these to find the parts of a page that confuse people. Two things about it are worth knowing. First, every form field and every character you type is masked before it leaves your browser and never reaches Microsoft, and I run Clarity in its strictest mode, so page text is masked too. Second, Clarity is Microsoft's service, and Microsoft holds that data as its own, not as my contractor. It sets cookies named _clck, _clsk, CLID, and MUID. Microsoft deletes the recordings after 30 days, and I cannot delete one person's recording out of the pile, only the whole project. If you'd rather not be recorded, turn analytics off using the link below and Clarity never starts.
How to Turn All of This Off
There is a Privacy choices link in the footer of every page. Open it and switch analytics and ad measurement off. The choice sticks, and the site works exactly the same either way. Nothing is gated behind saying yes and there is no nag.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, everything above is already off. I do not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity at all, and you do not have to click anything. My own counter stops too. That is the whole answer to the Do Not Track question: I honor it.
Do I sell or share your data? No. I do not sell it, I do not rent it, and I do not trade it. I do not meet the thresholds that would make California's or Texas's privacy laws apply to me, so there is no legally required “Do Not Sell” link on this site, and I am not going to put a fake one there to look compliant. The Privacy choices link does the thing. If those laws ever do apply to me, I will add whatever they require and say so on this page first.
The Chat Assistant
If you use the chat assistant, my server receives whatever you type and works out an answer. That's the only way it functions. I do not store plain questions and answers anywhere. I keep what you typed only if you use the chat's own form to leave your name and contact details, under the same terms as the contact form above.
If something you type sounds like a crisis, the assistant points you to 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or your local emergency number. It says clearly that it can't help with that itself.
Right now the assistant answers from a fixed set of responses I wrote myself. If I turn on a broader, AI-generated answer mode later, I may send some questions to a third-party language-model provider to generate the reply. I'll name that provider on this page before it goes live, not after.
How I Use It
- To respond to your request and discuss working together.
- If you opted into occasional notes, I'll send those. Any such email includes a working unsubscribe link, and I honor it right away. I'm not sending them yet. I've simply recorded your opt-in until I do.
What I Never Do
- Sell, rent, or trade your information.
- Share it with anyone except the infrastructure that stores and delivers it, and the analytics companies named above, which never receive your name or contact details.
- Call or text you for marketing. If you give me a number, I use it to answer the thing you wrote in about, nothing else.
Storage & Retention
Cloudflare infrastructure securely stores the raw form submission and automatically deletes that copy after 24 months. The contact record your submission creates in my CRM is different: unless you ask me to remove you, I keep your data. I never delete anyone's contact on a timer. I keep it so I can pick up where we left off if you write again, and so I can show what you agreed to and when. Unsubscribing stops my emails for good; it does not erase your record unless you ask for that too. Any browser details attached to your consent are removed after 24 months, and the proof of what you agreed to is kept. Ask me to remove you anytime and I will, and I'll tell you when it's done. Two small things stay on purpose: your email address on a do-not-contact list, so I never write to you again by mistake, and a dated line in my system's change log, kept seven years, recording that a record existed and was removed. Neither is used for anything else, ever. Analytics is separate and shorter. Google Analytics deletes its event data after 14 months. Microsoft Clarity's recordings are gone after 30 days, and I cannot pull one person's session out of it, so if you want no recording at all, use the Privacy choices link and none is ever made.
Affiliate Links
I don't use affiliate links right now. If I ever add one, it will be labeled right where it appears, and this page will say so first.
Changes to This Policy
When this page changes, the dates and the “What changed” line at the top change the same day. If a change affects how I use something you already sent me, I'll email you before it applies.
